The measurement and control of noise and vibration is increasingly important in todays world: we are becoming more environmentally concious. Our role is to measure noise and vibration; and implement sound engineering solutions for acoustic comfort and enjoyment.
In the Acoustic laboratory we can process actual site and on-board recordings under controlled conditions, and then demonstrate live the effects of an Acoustic Treatment before the project is commissioned.
- Environmental Noise Surveys for planning permission to BS4142, PPG24 and BS8233
- Building Noise Control - factory noise, rotating and reciprocating machines, air conditioning & ventilation plant, generators and CHP plants

DOMESTIC NOISE
If you have noisy neighbours, your walls are too thin or you are otherwise troubled by noise pollution.. The first step is not a technical one, in fact there is free advice waiting your call at the local environmental health office found in the phone book under council services. However, if you are building a serious studio in your house and need design or installation help, or if you want your entire luxury flat built in a sound isolated box (it is possible!), then we would be delighted assist you.
